The following table describes the contents of our standard DIY Log Home
Series Package. This package contains everything you need to get your
log house under roof. For pricing, see our Log

Details/Specifications |
| Logs and Log Building Accessories |
We provide you with the Eastern White Pine logs (including starter
and top course logs), all the log screws, log caulking, foam gasket
material for use between logs, and joint pegs you need for erecting
your log walls. |
| Timbers for Roof and Loft Framing |
Depending on the plan you choose and its structure/requirements,
we provide 6x12 ridge beam and carry beam for loft, 6x6 or 6x8 support
posts, 4x8, 6x6, or 6x8 loft beams, 4x8, 4x10, or 6x8 ceiling beams
or 6x8 roof purlins. Porch posts are also provided as well as collar
or wall ties, as needed. |
| Log Siding |
We provide log siding for your gables,
2nd floor exterior, dormers, perimeter foundation/skirt board covering
and garage. False corners for perimeter
foundation/skirt to match the log wall corners or siding on your garage
or dormers are also provided, if applicable. Note: Some dormers
do not lend themselves to false corners. |
| Flooring/Ceiling Paneling |
We provide 2x6 Tongue and Groove boards for your loft flooring as
well as for your ceilings. This material is finished on both sides.
Additionally, this is milled so that one side has a V-Match groove.
This adds a nice detail to your ceilings! Optional wide pine flooring
is available. |
| Pre-Cut Corners |
We will pre-cut your exterior corners for you. We can pre-cut butt and pass (mortise/tenon), dovetail or saddle notch corners. |
| Shipping |
We ship anywhere within the 48 Contiguous United States of America. Our price structure is based on location. Please call for shipping costs to your area. We even ship overseas. |

We provide technical advice during your log home experience: from the
time you first call us until well after you move in to your Dream
Home…..at no cost. When you buy from us, you become part of our extended
family. We want to hear about any bad experiences as well as the good
